Come and uncover your knowledge and strength as a parent with these fun and enlightening birth preparation classes.

This six-week course is based on Pam England's Birthing From Within™ philosophy of childbirth preparation. Through storytelling, art, and experiential activities parents learn to build a pain-coping mindset. This course is a mental and spiritual preparation that is empowering no matter where or how you give birth.

Birthing From Within™ Classes offer a unique way for first time parents to prepare for birth and parenting. For many women on the threshold of birth, their biggest concern is "How am I going to deal with the pain of labor?" In response to this, I teach a new pain coping practice in each of my classes. This builds a pain coping mindset which prepares women and their partners for the challenges of labor and birth.

Practical information is also included in each class along with preparing for birth mindfully, staying present in each moment, especially in those that you hope to avoid.

Birth is honored and celebrated as a rite of passage, regardless of how it unfolds. Fathers or birth partners are honored and included as an integral part of the process. A special class for partners gives them an opportunity to have an honest discussion around being the birth guardian and becoming a father.
